		<description>Dear Joe:

I came across this blog while surfing the net, getting further information to utilize for my wife and I as we open our new quilt shop in south Louisiana. I did a little more than just chuckle as I read your posting.

We are, obviously, way behind you and your wife, as we are planning to open our shop in a couple of months. My wife, who, obviously, will be there 24/7, just met with the Checkers rep. this past Thursday to begin placing our first order---kind of scary, but exciting at the same time.

I share your amazement at the average quilter. Crazy is putting it mildly. It took me a while to recognize and appreciate these ladies and this industry, but, wow! I, too, have been to the International Festival in Houston, approx. 3 years ago. I got cold feet after attending, but am not sure why. 3 years later, however, we are taking the plunge.

I am going to bookmark your blog and check back periodically. Heck, who knows, maybe I&#039;ll join the blog world when our shop gets up and going.

My vote on your blog is to keep it up!!

<description>I was just wondering if anyone is reading this blog.
No one is leaving any comments so perhaps it is not being read either.

If you are reading please leave me a comment so I know it is worth the time to try and keep this current.

thanks,
